Bürgermeister Michael Bouteiller lädt alle in Lübeck lebenden EU-Bürgerinnen und
-Bürger zu einer Informationsveranstaltung ins Rathaus ein. Der Einladungstext, verfaßt in Deutsch, Englisch und Französisch hat folgenden Wortlaut:
"Zum ersten Mal sind in diesem Jahr alle Bürgerinnen und Bürger der EU berechtigt, an den Kommunalwahlen teilzunehmen. In Lübeck wird die Bürgerschaft am 22. März 1998 gewählt. Ich nehme diese Gelegenheit zum Anlaß, mit Ihnen in ein Gespräch zu kommen und für Ihre Teilnahme an der Wahl zu werben. Ich lade Sie am Montag, 9. März, 19 Uhr, in den Audienzsaal des Rathauses ein. Ich bitte Sie, Ihre Teilnahme schriftlich oder telefonisch unter der Telefonnummer 12-2 10 01 zu bestätigen."
