Three young women in a hospital cancer ward: Stephanie, Sara and Mette are only about 20 years old, yet they may not have long to live. But not just their sickness is grievous; their relationships to their next of kin are also put to a harsh test. Between Christmas and New Year they are largely left to their own devices and the three women attempt to help each other deal with fear and loneliness. As was the case with “Young Man Falling”, the film was produced within the framework of the funding programme “New Danish Screen”.
