Accompanying Media-Pedagogical Seminar

Since 1979 the section "Films for Young Viewers" features an accompanying seminar programme for the multipliers of children's and youth film work. The accompanying Media-Pedagogical Seminar offers an opportunity for viewing and discussing selected children's and youth films from Scandinavia and the Baltic region in the presence of media-pedagogical experts. Furthermore, discussion rounds on individual films take place with filmmakers, children and adolescents. Lectures and workshops are dedicated to selected topics of Nordic children's and youth filmmaking. Towards the end of the festival, participants of the accompanying media-pedagogical seminar regularly make recommendations which German distributors and media pedagogues have been highly appreciative of throughout the past 30 years and which have a deciding influence on the reception of Scandinavian and Baltic children's and youth films in Germany. Applications to participate in the accompanying media-pedagogic seminar at Nordic Film Days Lübeck can be sent in as of September via the respective online accreditation. The seminar is hosted by Bundesverband Jugend und Film (German Federal Association of Youth and Film), Landesverband Jugend und Film Schleswig-Holstein (Schleswig-Holstein State Association of Youth and Film) and Nordic Film Days Lübeck.
