This year for the fourth time, the “Lübeck Film Studies Colloquium” will be held in collaboration with the “Journal of Scandinavian Cinema” and the Retrospective of the Nordic Film Days. Lectures in English will be dedicated this year to three main subjects related to Nordic cinema. Migrant Cinema, Archival Practices, and Television Drama.
In addition, seminar groups and panel discussions with selected Nordic Film Days guests will be dedicated to talking about current issues in modern cinema. The colloquium is organized in cooperation with the “Journal of Scandinavian Cinema” and is directed at (film) students and people interested in film history. The journal's editor Anders Marklund, senior lecturer at Lund University, will be joined by other speakers.
