54th Nordic Film Days Lübeck Presents Fresh Cinema from Europe’s North from 31st October to 4th November 2012

The date has been set for the 54^th Nordic Film Days Lübeck: The most significant festival for Nordic cinema will one again open its gates to film lovers and the international media industry from 31^st October to 4^th November 2012. Around 150 productions from Scandinavia, the Baltic Region and Northern Germany will be presented throughout five days on eight screens in Lübeck’s cinemas. Nordic Film Days Lübeck’s eight awards will be presented on 3^rd November within the framework of the Film Prize Night at Theater Lübeck. The festival will once again feature its “Lübeck Meetings”, an extensive support programme for film distributors, buyers and producers. The completed programme of the 54^th Nordic Film Days Lübeck will be published early October, and the focus of the renowned Retrospective will be announced in the summer. The festival is hosted by the Hanseatic City of Lübeck.
